The Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) commences on Monday, October 17, 2022, about this, The Public Relations Officer (P.R.O) for the Jaman North District Education Directorate in the Bono region, Mr. Eric Mensah ahead of the Basic Education Certificate Examination on the coming Monday has tasked all candidates to desist from the use of foreign materials in the examination hall to prevent future consequences that may happen to them if caught up by WAEC.
Speaking in an interview on Gye Nyame Fm’s Morning Show chaired by Kankam Boadu, Mr. Eric Mensah disclosed that WAEC always frowns against any act of malpractice hence items like calculators, mobile phones, books, papers, or other materials that are not permitted by WAEC at the examination hall will be considered as foreign material if detected on you which will subsequently affect you at the examination hall and affects your results as well.
Mr. Eric Mensah also pleaded with some community members, siblings of the candidates, and teachers leaving around the BECE centers to stay away from any attempt to provide the candidates with foreign materials and other frivolous support that promote the subject of examination malpractices indicating that police personnel will be deployed to all examination centers to ensure adequate security and whoever is caught in such activities will face the laws of the country and its consequences.
Finally, Mr. Eric Mensah encouraged the candidates to go all out and come out with flying colors denoting that all the invigilators for the one-week duration of the examination are all teachers within the Jaman North district hence the candidate must be courageous and avoid any form of fear and panic before and during the examination.
