Ghanaian actress and celebrity Rosemond Brown finally speaks after her 90 days jail sentence over the publication of a nude photo of herself and her seven year old son. After the court verdict, the actress was quickly sent away in a haste to prevent the public and media men from taking pictures and videos of her.
In a video, which has been going viral online, the Poloo extended her heart felt gratitude to her friends, fans and celebrities who joined the fight in appealing to the judge to free Akuapem Poloo all over social media with #FreeAkuapemPoloo. Akuapem Poloo lauded her gratitude to some celebrities like Sarkodie, Reggie Rockstone, Yaa Jackson, Stonebwoy and others for their support and urged in confidence that she will keep on going strong to go through her current situation.
Meanwhile, social media fans have expressed their displeasure on the judge’s ruling explaining that it was too harsh for a mother with a child at such a tender age considering the stigma which could be levelled against him.
On this, Lawyer and actress Sandra Ankobiah has also shared her thought on the sentence presided over by Her Honour Christiana Caan at the Accra Circuit Court.
Lawyer Ankobiah in a series of tweets explained that there were other forms of judgement which did not necessarily involve being put into prison.
She however expressed that, it was necessary to take the full judgement of her Ladyship into consideration before criticising the verdict.
