All staff of the National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programme (NEIP) have been dismissed.
According to management, this is because the complexity and legal implications of resolving issues relating to employment of existing staff, prevent them from using operational funds to pay monthly staff allowances.
A letter that has since gone viral said all the staff should not report to work by the close of February 25, 2025.
The NEIP says once the issues are addressed, management may call upon specific staff whose services will be required to resume work.
