In view of this, Ghanaians raised concerns of criticizing the government as incompetent in handling the affairs of the nation.

According to the former secretary for the NPP in the Tain constituency, Hon. Adama Coulibally that Ghanaians are ungrateful for being silence on praising the government over the reductions of fuel prices and the cedi appreciation.
He viewed that as Ghanaians shaded all sorts of opinions against the government when things were getting bad should hail it when efforts have been made to abate the challenges.
The former secretary made this known to Appiah Kubi on Nyamekye Radio.
“I’m in deep shock to see Ghanaians in silence when things are getting better now in the country, but when things were getting worse, people were even insulting the government, on televisions, radio, social media, in fact, everywhere. I was expecting to hear appraisal when things are getting better now”, he bemoaned.
