On Wednesday, December 8, former President John Agyekum Kufuor celebrated his 83rd birthday.

Hundreds of Ghanaians attended the celebration, including President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

“Happy 83rd Birthday to my boss, the 2nd President of the 4th Republic, His Excellency John Agyekum Kufuor,” Mr Akufo-Addo tweeted.

Frank Annoh-Dompreh, a Nsawam Adoagyiri lawmaker, also tweeted, “Happy birthday to the Gentle Giant, and venerable H.E John Agyekum Kufuor.” Your numerous interventions will have an impact on millions of Ghanaians and future generations!”

Dan Kwaku Yeboah, a sports journalist, wished President John Agyekum Kufour a happy birthday. Continue to age gracefully.”

“Happy birthday to Former President H. E. John Agyekum Kufuor,” Education Minister Yaw Osei Adutwum stated. Your selfless leadership is something to be admired. We honor your contributions to the country.”
