Bawumia Planned ECG Vending Woes To Introduce New Payment Method – System Analyst Alleges

Yayra Koku has alleged that Vice President Bawumia is behind the recent challenges of Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG).
He took to his Facebook page on Monday, October 3rd, 2022, to reveal that there is no problem with the current payment system that is used to purchase electricity in Ghana.
According to him, Vice President Bawumia together with the current Managing Director of ECG, Samuel Dubik Mahama are planning to change the current payment system of the Electricity Company of Ghana in other to give the contract to Hubtel.
Yayra Koku Alleged that if the deal with goes through Hubtel will get a 4% commission for just building a new fronted payment platform which already exists at ECG.
“Again, the attempt to blame the internal IT guys for the recent mishap can only be a figment of someone’s imagination.
“This is to pave the way to give the contract to Hubtel, who will take a 4% commission for just building a new frontend payment platform which already exists at ECG,” parts of the post read.
