STEPS ON HOW TO RE-REGISTER YOUR SIM CARD VIA USSD (Checkout procedures)

On 5th September The Minister for Communications and Digitization, Ursula Owusu-Ekufful in a press briefing with the journalist said, the nationwide SIM re-registration exercise will start from 1st October 2021, to 31st March 2022. Adding that any SIM card which is not re-registered before April 1, 2022, will be blocked.

She further said, only the National Identity Card (Ghana Card) shall be used for the registration of SIM cards of citizens, foreign residents and foreigners staying in Ghana for more than 90 days.

According to her, existing subscribers will register their SIMs via USSD and a sim application App
