After Sunday’s meeting, the NPP must remain together – Titus Glover

-

Nii Kwartei Titus Glover, a former Member of Parliament for Tema East, has urged his party, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), to remain united following the national delegate conference on Sunday, December 18.

He warned party members against making statements that offer the main opposition party political ammunition to use against them in the run-up to the 2024 national elections.

“I want to see us at the end of this conference more united,” the former Deputy Transport Minister told TV3 in an interview. “We need to see ourselves as one NPP family.”

“The goal is to stay in power, to carry out his excellency’s policies and programs.” Nana Addo and Dr. Bawumia are outstanding.

“The members of the party will recognize that we can only achieve a lot for our people if you are in power.” I’ll make an appeal to our part-time ad file, advising them to be cautious.

“Sometimes some of our commentaries, some of our proclamations aren’t good enough because the more negative commentaries you make, the more energized the opposition becomes.”

During the summit, the NPP is expected to make important decisions.

Dr. Arthur Kobina Kennedy, a stalwart of the NPP located in the United States, scribbled a list of concerns he believes the party must address if it is to break the 8-year cycle.

“The first issue we must address is who is entitled to vote for our National leaders and Presidential candidate,” Dr. Arthur Kennedy stated in a statement before of the gathering.

“There are numerous ideas to increase the electorate’s size. Ex-MPs are desired by some, while more Nasara coordinators are desired by others.”
