4 ARRESTED FOR IMPERSONATION IN ONGOING WASSCE .(Checkout)

-

Information reaching Akonnor News indicate some four persons have been arrested by the Weija District Police Command for alleged impersonation in the ongoing WASSCE.

They are three males and a female. According to Akonnor News’ roving reporter, Regina Akua Sarpomaa, they were arrested at Vicar Trust Senior High School, located near Akplaku Junction, off the Kokrobite road in the Greater Accra region.

Our sources indicate one man contracted the two young men to undertake the exercise on behalf of some two students for reasons yet unknown.

When the two got arrested, the lady who got frightened owned up to the authorities that she had also come to take the paper on behalf of someone.

Three were in uniform when they were sent to the police station, with exception of the man who allegedly contracted them.

Our sources further revealed the four have currently been sent to the Weija Divisional Command, waiting to be referred to the Accra Region.

The police are yet to make a statement on the development officially.
