Why Police exhume Mohbad’s corpse for autopsy

The Lagos State Police Command has announced that the corpse of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad has been exhumed.
According to the state police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, autopsy will commence immediately to ascertain the cause of death of the singer.

On Thursday, September 21, @BenHundeyin wrote on his X page; “Exhumation completed. Autopsy to commence.”

Recall that after Mohbad’s death on September 12, 2023, his family hurriedly buried the singer the next day at a ‘rough’ location.

This sparked massive reactions as Nigerians called on the government to intervene and asked for his body to be exhumed for proper investigations into his death.

Videos making rounds showed blood on Mohbad’s grave after he was exhumed as many wondered if he was buried alive.

However, some netizens argued that the blood was not from the late singer but maybe from an animal that was sacrificed before his body was dug up.

See some reactions on social media;
