AKUFO-ADDO CAN’T SACK OFORI-ATTA BECAUSE HE USED HIS DATA BANK TO SUPPORT HIS CAMPAIGN – NDC GROUP

-

Leadership of the powerful Youth of NDC has claimed that President Nana Akuffo-Addo cannot sack the finance minister, Ken Ofori Atta because he used his Data Bank money to support his previous campaigns.

The group also alleged that president Akuffo Addo has given the Finance Ministry to Ken Ofori-Atta as a reward for helping him become President.

Addressing the media in kumasi today, the leader of the powerful Youth of NDC, Mr. Seth Okyere argues that it is the reason President Akufo-Addo has refused to sack the Finance Minister although things are not going well.

The Majority Caucus in Parliament yesterday called on President Akufo-Addo to sack the Finance Minister.

According to the MPs, they will boycott the 2023 budget reading and hearing if the President decides not to heed the call to sack of Ken Ofori-Atta.

But the powerful Youth of the NDC believes that the finance minister cannot be sacked because his financial institution was used to support Akuffo Addo’s campaigns.
