2024 Election: I will help break the 8 – NAPO vows after confirmation

Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed his commitment to helping the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, win the December 7 Presidential election.

The National Council of the party on Thursday, July 4, 2024, affirmed Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, as the running mate of Dr. Bawumia.

In his acceptance statement, NAPO, who is the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, pledged to support Dr. Bawumia in running a solid campaign that will secure victory for the NPP and break the 8-year governance cycle.

“As I assume the role of running mate alongside my esteemed boss, H.E. Dr. Bawumia, I am committed to supporting him to prosecute a formidable 2024 campaign to break the 8-year election cycle and serve our beloved country diligently. Let us work together towards a brighter future for Ghana,” he promised.
