Speaking on behalf of the association, GFA spokesperson Henry Asante Kotey emphasized the commitment to maintaining integrity and transparency in Ghanaian football:
“The GFA is focused on grooming young referees to fill the void rather than rehiring those involved in bribery.”Football kits
The referees in question were exposed in a 2018 investigative report by Anas, which showed officials accepting bribes and compromising the fairness of matches. The exposé sparked national outrage and prompted calls for reform in Ghanaian football officiating.

In response, the GFA has implemented a series of measures to restore public confidence, including new training programs, strict vetting procedures, and the promotion of a culture of accountability among match officials.
“Football fans deserve fair play, and the GFA will continue to ensure that corruption has no place in our sport,” added Kotey.Activewear
The decision reflects the association’s zero-tolerance approach towards misconduct and corruption, signaling that any official found guilty of unethical practices will face lasting consequences.
As Ghanaian football continues to grow domestically and internationally, the GFA’s firm stance seeks to ensure that the integrity of the game is never compromised.Football kits
