NDC- BOLGATANGA CENTRAL CONSTITUENCY TAKES ON DR. MUHAMUDU BAWAMIAH FOR PEDLLING UNTRUTH AND TAKEN GHANAIANS FOR GRANTED
As usual, Ghanaians have been served with a plethora of uninspiring mediocre of a speech forcefully delivered by the certified originator of untruths and half-truths in Ghana’s political space, HE Alhaji Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, Vice President of the republic. By and large it has been abundantly clear and now, has been reinforced that when the Vice President greets you good morning, look at the position of the sun before you respond. This is a man who a heap of credibility issues hanging around his neck and no amount of whitewashing can set him free. He is but simply the byday triskster we have all come to know. Ignore his concoctions and conjurations and you will be at piece and progress with the NDC party ably lead by HE JDM.
His own words and those of his boss will continue to expose him to the latter. One gets to see the real llength of a toad only when it dies. And so Ghanaians have seen the smoothness level of Dr. Bawumia after having already given him and his boss a highly fair hearing by entrusting the destiny of our country into their hands for nearly eight years now. The honey moon Dr. Bawumia and Akuffo Addo enjoyed from the economy from 2017 to 2019 was as a result of the painful but necessary measures that were put in place by HE John Mahama, the political Prophet and crême de la crême in Ghana politics. The positive outlook of the economy 2017 was also pontificated by the IMF and independent economic watchers at the time. Surfice to say that the fundamental growth of the economy then did not happen because of the so-called economic acumen or wizardry of Dr. Bawumia as chairman of the EMT.
It is crucial not to over look the fact that DMB is indeed, a figure of inconsistency and any well meaning Ghanaian who spares him a scintilla of credibility does so in his or her own peril. He says if the base of the economy is weak the exchange rate will expose you. Today the exchange rate is at an all-time high at 12 cedis to the US dollar but DMB thinks the economy is robust under his care. Why, did we not read from Chinua Achebe that “man of worth never gets up to unsay what he said yesterday? Clearly, his honesty is on the line. Per his speech posits that the president, his boss does not listen to him anymore. But why should you be given a listening ear you lied to the whole world that you have arrested the dollar, locked it up and handed the keys to the IGP?.
Again, realising that he is fast failing the test of naked reality he engages in politics of subtle division. He continues to preach religious imaginary tolerance and cohesion as if to say there was ever a religious war in our midst. And anytime he goes this way, he forgets to recognise the existence of African Traditional Religion, Budism, etc in our land.
Besides, DMB is neck deep in dishonesty. In his backyard, northern Ghana, a one-week-old child knows for sure that 1V1D has failed, 1D1F has failed, PFJ was dead on arrival but hey, DMB in his disingenuous stance will tell you he and his boss have done well and he, must now be given to nod to govern. What a joke of the mellenium!
It is safe to conclude authoritatively, that the DMB we thought wildered the magic wand to turn Ghana into Eldorado is nothing but a fluke. God in his goodness has forgiven us our innocence which lured us into buying their empty promises. DMB and his apparatchiks must be booted out, must be shown the exit, must be shown the red card come December, 2024. He nothing to offer Ghanaians.
Together let’s reusher in HE JDM come December, 2024 to build the Ghana we want. He is trustworthy, competent, honest, and his integrity is above the line. The 24hr economy is a game changer and the sanctity of state institutions must restored. Believe it.
