Ned Nwoko and Regina Daniels Clash Over Drug Allegations and Arrests

A bitter public dispute has erupted between Nigerian senator Ned Nwoko and his actress wife Regina Daniels, as the pair trade explosive allegations involving drug use, domestic abuse, and family arrests.

In a series of social media posts, Nwoko accused Regina’s brother, Sammy Daniels, of harassing his children and household staff, claiming he had invested heavily in Sammy’s education and living expenses. He further alleged that Sammy and other associates introduced Regina to drugs and undermined her attempts at rehabilitation. “These videos show Sammy repeatedly coming to my home and harassing my children and domestic staff,” Nwoko wrote.

The senator also linked Regina’s alleged substance abuse to the breakdown of their marriage, citing incidents of late-night disturbances and continued access to her by individuals who encouraged her drug use.

Regina Daniels responded via Instagram, admitting to past drug use but denying that it was the cause of the marital dispute. She accused Nwoko of using the allegations to tarnish her reputation, stating:

“Fine, I did drugs. So what? The moment we had a fight, you rushed to the public shouting ‘drugs, drugs, drugs,’ because you knew it would make a perfect media story.”

She also alleged that Nwoko subjected her to physical and psychological abuse, including seizing her phones, locking her up, and arranging for medical interventions without her consent. “You took my phones just because you hate that I talk to my family a lot,” she added.Best smartphone

Adding to the tension, Regina claimed that Nwoko’s influence has led to the arrest of her siblings. She also challenged the legality of their marriage, asserting: “For the record, we were never married in any court of law. Leave me alone, Ned. Marriage is not by force.”

The feud has ignited public debate in Nigeria and beyond, with opinions divided between condemning Nwoko’s actions and questioning Regina’s decision to air family disputes publicly. Analysts note that the overlapping issues of alleged drug use, domestic violence, and legal marriage status make the dispute complex and challenging to resolve.

As the saga continues to unfold online, both Nwoko and Daniels remain entrenched in their positions. The high-profile clash highlights how celebrity, social media, and private family matters can collide, creating a spectacle that captivates public attention while raising serious legal and ethical questions.
