When I Saw Sammy Gyamfi With 3 Police Despatch Riders, It Dawned On Me That Power Has Change Hands

-

Justice Abeeku Newton-Offei, a former presidential staffer of ex-President Akufo-Addo, has alleged that yesterday, he saw Sammy Gyamfi with 3 police dispatch riders and a motorcade of 5 Toyota Land Cruisers, and it dawned on him that power has changed hands.

Justice Abeeku made this comment in a post he shared on his Facebook page on 10th January, 2025.

He said that around midday yesterday, he was approaching the traffic intersection at the Swiss Embassy from Mount Crest University College direction, in Kanda-Accra, and there was a motorcade of 5 Toyota Landcrusers led by 3 police despatch riders.

“I got to the intersection when the green light was on and therefore had the right of way. But one of the despatch riders, at neck-breaking speed, blocked our way for the fleet to pass, and lo and behold, it was Sammy Gyemfi passing.

Momentarily, I thought he was out of step and therefore abusing road traffic regulations. But it then dawned on me that there has been a change of power, and that, levels have equally changed. Truly, ndc people know how to enjoy power!” Justice Abeeku Newton-Offei concluded.
