Ken Ofori-Atta Has Refused To Resign; Wants To Set This Record As Minister – Political Strategist Drops Details

Political strategist has opined that Ken Ofori-Atta has refused to step down from his job because he wants to set a record.

According to him, the minister’s refusal to resign is because he wants to be known as Ghana’s finance minister who stayed in office for two terms.

The strategist said he does not understand why the President has refused to sack him despite his abysmal performance.

He noted that the man should have also resigned from his job as a matter of principle.

“Someone like Ofori-Atta is not prepared to leave. He has the ambition to set a record as the first finance minister to serve for 8 years. In our fourth republic, no finance minister has served for 8 consecutive years.”

He also maintained that two other ministers must be sacked are Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten the Trade and Industry Minister and the Minister for Agriculture Dr. Afriyie Akoto.

He said the two ministers have failed their jobs and should be replaced with competent people.
